Dreams and Finances

Dreams and Finances

Dreams result from love or passion for a place, person, or profession. However, finances, talents, parents, and location often limit people’s ability to pursue their dreams (Conger et al., 2000).

Education

  • Learn at least five languages viz; French, German, Spanish, Chinese, and Arabic. I would use applications like Duolingo to learn these languages, visit the countries and attend schools.

  • My interest in meals would drive me to learn how to make various African dishes, mainly from Ghana and South Africa.

  • To promote healthy living and eating while having various products, I would learn and cultivate the habit of gardening. I will buy a farm and learn how to plant, water, and weed.

  • Although most individuals cultivate the habit of speed reading themselves, I would learn the act of speed reading to increase my retention and reading ability.

  • I have always loved business; however, I didn't take professional courses or study it full-time. With the resources and talents, I would get an MBA to gain appropriate knowledge from experts.

Other things I would learn include;

  • Drawing and Fine Art,

  • House painting, decluttering, and home organization.

  • Photography

  • Music, Guitar, and Piano playing.

  • Basic Self-defense and Kungfu

Job or Research

I would explore all the career paths listed in the question and a few more. They include;

  • I would teach students the various languages I intend to learn and serve as a translator between my English-speaking country and these foreign countries.

  • I would also engage in “Angel Investing.”  I would fund businesses and get equity.

  • While I may not pursue singing professionally, I would pursue a music and sound production career.

  •  I would love to be a Disc Jockey and play beautiful music at parties.

  • My love for traveling and helping people would make me consider being a tour guide. I would explore cities and help others maneuver those cities too.

  • Although being a “food critic” is synonymous with being a chef, I would explore that job role. It involves eating various meals and rating the taste and ambiance of meals and restaurants.

Other career choices I would explore are;

  • Firefighting,

  • Photography,

  • Journalism

  • Occupational Therapy,

  • Fashion Styling.

Philosophical and Religious

With adequate resources, I would host a spiritual retreat. People would pray, interact with each other, and learn more about their faith. I will include financial literacy and other essential knowledge. I will attend Bible schools to improve my understanding of the Bible, its characters, and its principles.

Although a Christian, I would travel to nations that practice Islam. I would check online sources for information about Buddhism and converse with those practicing Hinduism. I would visit Libraries and temples that explore Judaism. I would take lessons to learn the basics of how they pray.

I want to read books and converse with authors who do not believe in faith or God. I want to understand their views and question them when necessary. Most importantly, I would visit a monk to learn about Shinto in Japan and China.

Home.

I would get a 320 m long and 60 m long swimming pool. My bedroom would have one of Leonardo Davinci’s paintings. My love for gardening would drive me to get a garden in my home. Due to my passion for movies, a  private cinema has to make this list.

My never-ending love for fashion will birth a walk-in closet and a runway in my home. I would build a music studio and a minibar. I would buy elite pieces from the best makers of architecture and woodwork. I would have a fully equipped, comfortable home office and a large parking lot to accommodate visitors and my numerous cars.

My dreams show that I love to explore and do unconventional things. Most importantly, I love and hope to achieve an extremely comfortable life filled with ease and bliss.

Travel

My travel wishes include;

  • Traveling to the desert for a day to see if I could survive.

  • Touring all African countries.

  • Engaging in road intercountry travel.

  • Traveling and throwing a party on a cruise ship.

  • Various scientists have traveled to the moon, and I would love to do that.

  • Asides from the moon, I would also travel to other planets.

  • Piloting myself in a private jet to a calm and low-populated area is also a part of my travel wishes.

  • Using Horses and Camels to visit African villages.

  • Traveling on foot like in the olden days.
